Terms of use
These terms govern your use of the trogsec.com website, operated by Troglodyte Security, LLC ("TrogSec", "we"). They do not govern client engagements, which have their own agreements.
These terms are a working draft and have not yet been reviewed by an attorney. Effective date: to be set on adoption.
1. Acceptance
By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. Informational content
The content of this site, including scope descriptions, methodology, and pricing, is provided for general information. Published prices are estimates subject to scoping and exclude Hawaii General Excise Tax. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance; an engagement exists only when a written agreement is signed by both parties. Nothing on this site is legal, compliance, or regulatory advice.
3. Pricing calculator
The pricing calculator runs entirely in your browser and produces estimates from the published tables. Its output is not a quote. A firm quote is provided in writing after scoping.
4. Free discovery scan
The free discovery scan is offered at TrogSec's discretion, limited to one per organization, and may be declined or withdrawn for any reason, including where the requesting organization is not a fit for the services described on this site. The scan reports configuration conformance against published baselines. It is not an audit, does not constitute a security assessment of your environment, and does not create an engagement.
5. Form submissions
You agree to submit only accurate information about yourself and your organization, and not to submit credentials, tenant identifiers, or other configuration detail through the site's forms. Handling of submissions is described in the privacy policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to probe, scan, or test the site or its endpoints for vulnerabilities except in accordance with the disclosure policy published at /.well-known/security.txt; not to submit automated or bulk requests to the site's forms; and not to interfere with the site's operation.
7. Client portal
The Client Login link leads to erp.trogsec.com, a separate service available only to clients whose access has been provisioned during onboarding. Use of the portal is governed by the client agreement, not by these terms.
8. Intellectual property
The content and design of this site are owned by Troglodyte Security, LLC. You may view and print pages for your own evaluation of our services. You may not reproduce the site's content commercially without written permission.
9. Third-party links
Links to external resources are provided for reference. TrogSec does not control and is not responsible for their content.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
This site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Troglodyte Security, LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on this site or its content. Liability under any client agreement is governed by that agreement.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute concerning this site shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaii.
12. Changes
We may revise these terms by publishing a new version at this address with an updated effective date.
